These skilfully illustrated girls with their curvaceous forms and inviting lingerie soon overtook America’s national dessert, in terms of popularity, and even developed considerable potential as a cultural export during the 1940s. Smiling prettily at the camera, the models exuded just the right amount of sex appeal without seeming too sophisticated or artful.

If you are one of the ever growing army of fans of pinup photography then this magazine is definately for you. I just received my copy of issue #1 and I gotta admit, Im really impressed. The models are gorgeous and the photography and backdrops are just as beautiful. This issue has over 80 pages of pinups reminesent of the glamour photography of the 1940′ and 50′s. Just so there is no confusion, these images are all very tastefully done, no nudity, but there is good bit of naughty!

Bettie Page Statue. Based on a sculpt by Tony Cipriano, this mini-statue measures 6″ with a 7″ base capturing the charm and sultriness of this real-life heroine in exacting, minute detail. Sexy yet tasteful, like Bettie herself, this is a “must-have” for Bettie Page fans. Bettie Page was one of the most popular pin-ups of the 1950s. She first appeared as a Playmate in the pages of PLAYBOY in January, 1955 in a fetching yuletide photo shot by Bunny Yeager. At the end of the decade, she disappeared, but her legend continued to grow until, by the 1990s, she had become an icon.
